Ouran High School is a recent creation, so I'm able to find very recent doujinshi (I'm talking mere months after they are printed, and not years, like 2002 or 1996).
Blessed with a scholarship, commoner girl Haruhi is accepted into a school occupied by the children of the richest in Japan. Content with her solitude and study centered student life, things are going fine until she stumbles into the lair of the eccentric Host Club (a group of cute boys who entertain bored fangirls willing to pay large sums for their company) and breaks a ridiculously expensive vase. Obviously not able to replace or pay for it, she is roped into joining their ranks and work off the debt. However, she must pass herself off as a boy, and no soul (outside the club) can discover her secret.
TITLE: Cake Viking
GENRE: Gag, Tamaki x Haruhi
CIRLE: Iridescence Jewel
SUMMARY: The host club plays with an odd toy (I honestly have no idea what it is), dress like French maids, and Tamaki and Haruhi sit together at a kotatsu.
THOUGHTS: How could I not? It's called CAKE VIKING for crying out loud! Though, they're actually dressed like pirates (^x^) But let's not be picky. Very smooth, cute artwork as always. I always zoom right for the TxH stuff, though, which was right at the end. Tamaki gets all excited over things that your average Japanese wouldn't even blink about - in this instance, the traditional kotatsu. He's so tall, though, that his legs take up all the room. So, Haruhi has to sit right in front of him, practically sitting on his lap. She appears indifferent if not annoyed about the whole thing, but I think Tamaki sorta thought of it as a father-daughter bonding experience. Tamaki, dear, you aren't her dad.
TITLE: Cherry Boy
GENRE: Gag, Tamaki x Haruhi
CIRLE: Iridescence Jewel
SUMMARY: As per one of their "theme" days, the boys all sport glasses. Tamaki and Haruhi play doctor and patient for their clients. Haruhi unknowingly shares "whisky bon bons" with Tamaki.
THOUGHTS: Gorgeous! If my Japanese was better I could say more of what's happening. You get to see what a plastered Tamaki would look like. Thankfully, he is still the gentleman - more like a giggly hugbug - Haruhi, however, is not amused at all. At one point she agrees to kiss him on the forehead!
TITLE: Fujioka Haruhi no Yuuutsu 2
GENRE: General/Gag, with some Tamaki x Haruhi
CIRCLE: C100
SUMMARY: The twins try to talk Haruhi into wearing a French maid's oufit. An agreement is made only when Tamaki does it as well.
THOUGHTS: You can't blame Haruhi for not wanting to wear such a silly thing. But a maid Tamaki is priceless! Very smooth and pretty artwork. You almost want to stare at the drawings more than the story. Sweet picture of Mori, Hunny, and Haruhi on the inside front, with Tamaki and Haruhi in the back. Also, if you look at the back of the doujinshi, you'll see that the cover is simply one of Tamaki's little "mind theater" fantasies.
TITLE: Host Club Diary
GENRE: General/Gag, with some Tamaki x Haruhi
CIRCLE: Iridescence Jewel
SUMMARY: The host club woos the ladies, takes part in a soccer game, and visits a "commoner" grocery store.
THOUGHTS: There is some definite TxH bias in here (and, being a TxH fan, that suits me fine). While entertaining clients, Haruhi falls asleep in Tamaki's lap, and in another story, fixes his tie. I have to say, the cover sold me by itself - I didn't care what might be in it, save for hentai. Don't they look awesome?
TITLE: Poi x 3
GENRE: Gag
CIRCLE: Ink no Kairou
SUMMARY: Renge tries to pull a "Ranma 1/2" on Haruhi, Tamaki overreacts as per usual, Haruhi receives a mini gift, and more.
THOUGHTS: Sadly, despite the cover, there really isn't any Haruhi x Tamaki stuff (their website has some cute drawings, though). Anyway, Renge, being the anime fangirl that she is, spots Haruhi changing and later grabs at her chest, to see if she does in fact have boobs. Of course, the guys completely freak out, and Renge tries to pour hot water on her to see if she changes into a boy (ala "Ranma 1/2," you see - at least, I think that's what she's trying to do). In the last story, Haruhi receives a dollhouse-sized chair, which brings about a childhood memory. It's a cute little book that I finally got around to buying.
TITLE: Sakura Trip
GENRE: General/Gag, some Tamaki x Haruhi(?)
CIRLE: Iridescence Jewel
SUMMARY: It's a little confusing, so in all honesty I can't really summarize this one. There is a theme dealing with sakura blossoms, though.
THOUGHTS: At the beginning of the book, Haruhi picks a sakura blossom out of Tamaki's hair, and at the end has a meaningful discussion with him under some sakura trees. Other than that, I can't figure out enough to form a strong opinion. Tamaki's dog is in this one. OH! And in one scene Haruhi licks something off Tamaki's finger, which had me raising my eyebrows. If Jewel is heading in some weird direction now, I'm not sure I want to follow O_o That's why I label it Tamaki x Haruhi, because how can that not be? It's not my favorite of their works, but if I could somehow get my hands on a translated script I could always change my mind.
